Sequoia Nursery School welcomes preschool children ages 2-5. However, 2 year olds must turn 3 by November 1, 2025 in order to attend.
Our application window is now closed, but you may reach out to our Membership Chair @ membership@sequoiakids.org and inquire about applying to be added to our waitlist.
Apply for Tuition Assistance – For those looking for assistance with our tuition, the application can be found HERE. Tuition assistance is confidential and has no impact on applications.
How it all works – We accept applications during an open application window that begins in January following our info night and closes March 1st. During that window, all applications that we receive will be considered with equal weight – there is no “first come, first serve” and there is no waitlist from previous years – we start over every winter and ask everyone to apply (or re-apply). We will email our decisions out 1-2 weeks after our application window closes.
If we receive more applications than we can accept, we may create a waitlist. We will notify you if you are added to our waitlist. The waitlist often sees pretty good “movement” throughout the summer, so, if you are waitlisted, don’t be too discouraged, things may still work out!
If our program is not yet full after our application window closes in March, we will offer rolling admissions. During the rolling admissions period, applications will be first come, first serve but each application will still be evaluated for fit with our program. We introduced this extended, rolling admissions window during low enrollment years in the Pandemic.
If our program does fill up during our on time application window, you may still email our Membership Chair @ membership@sequoiakids.org to inquire about applying to join the waitlist.
We strongly advise that you apply by our application window deadline of March 1st – we cannot guarantee that there will be any space remaining for late applicants.
For questions about admissions, please contact our Membership Chair at membership@sequoiakids.org.
